00 Station Overview

Station Horizon is the central hub of operations. Explored from a top-down perspective, every corridor, module, and airlock is walked through directly. The station is not a menu. It is a place.

Construction begins with a command module and a handful of crew. From there, modules are attached one by one to the station grid, expanding capabilities from basic life support to full-scale production, education, and defense. Power and oxygen must be routed. Corridors must connect. Every decision shapes the layout.

Crew members are not abstract numbers. They sleep in quarters, eat in the common room, train in the simulator, and form relationships. Children are born. Veterans retire. The station grows not just in size, but in history.

02 Station Log
Station Day 001 / 2847.03.14
Command module pressurized. Five crew aboard. The station is nothing more than a tin can bolted to a rock, but the reactor is running and the air is clean. That is enough for now.
-- Cdr. Vasquez, Station Log
Station Day 087 / 2847.06.09
First expansion complete. Two new corridors, a proper medbay, and crew bunks that do not double as storage closets. Morale is up. The smelter came online yesterday and the sound of industry carries through the walls. Starting to feel like a real station.
-- Cdr. Vasquez, Station Log
Station Day 214 / 2847.10.14
Elena Reyes gave birth at 0340 hours. A girl, 3.2 kilograms. The first child born on Horizon. The whole station gathered at the observation deck afterward. Nobody said much. There was nothing to say that the stars were not already saying.
-- Cdr. Vasquez, Station Log
Station Day 412 / 2848.05.01
Population count: 47. The garden dome is producing enough greens to supplement rations. Opened the bar last week and I have not seen crew morale this high since arrival. Horizon is no longer an outpost. It is becoming a home.
